Swanton Care are a residential and supported living social care provider for children and adults, with 113 locations across the UK. Following a business restructure, ASK4 were chosen to help them separate from a larger company, replacing their entire IT infrastructure from the ground up.
As Swanton needed to be independent from their previous organisation by a set date, we worked hard to meet the deadline to ensure that they were able to continue operating as usual without disruption.
ASK4 provided new national network connectivity, set up new email systems for all users via Microsoft 365, as well as installing cloud telephony across all sites. As Swanton have carers working across multiple sites, they require devices to be able to work whilst within the care homes as well as e-learning and taking Teams Video calls. We sourced a fleet of tablets, activated them, and set them up using mobile device management software, restricting them to core apps and allowing them to be remotely locked and disabled.
Secure and Compliant
Not only was meeting the tight deadline important for Swanton, but due to the nature of the work they conduct, privacy, compliance and security were also key considerations. Working alongside Swanton’s Head of IT and their Technology, Leadership and Training department we completed the project on time, adhering to compliance, and now continue to support Swanton with their ongoing IT requirements, managing all field and technical work.
ASK4 have modernised Swanton’s operations, enabling them to become more agile. By providing them with bespoke IT solutions that were specific to their needs, we have given them a platform to be able to grow, increasing the number of supported sites from an original 30 in 2018 to 113 by December 2022. Swanton are now more efficient, compliant, and resilient.
