Achieving strong phone signal in multi-tenant buildings can be difficult. WiFi calling can solve this problem…

WiFi calling is a feature offered by most mobile network providers that allows you to make calls and texts through wireless Internet networks, rather than using your mobile data. When WiFi calling is activated, a mobile phone will automatically use the wireless network coverage in that area, allowing users to make high-quality calls indoors and in areas that aren’t able to receive good mobile coverage. It’s worth noting that in order to use WiFi calling when abroad or roaming, you must turn on airplane mode, or turn your mobile network off in order to use the feature. Different providers may have different guidance, so be sure to check if you are using the service abroad.

Uninterrupted Service

WiFi calling is particularly useful for residents who live in multi-tenant buildings, as phone coverage can be limited due to signal congestion and attenuation. These problems may not be present in all parts of the building, however loss of signal may be unavoidable in certain areas due to the types of building materials used. ASK4’s superfast Internet service covers all areas in a typical multi-tenanted building, including communal breakout rooms, study rooms, games rooms, gyms, cinemas, and outdoor garden areas. This means that when residents use WiFi calling, they will benefit from good quality voice and video calls wherever they are in the building and close surrounding outdoor areas. This means that they won’t ever need to move to different parts of the building just to make a phone call, and their signal won’t drop as they move around the building, from their room to a common area, for example. ASK4’s fully pervasive, secure wireless service is also extended to visitors passing through the building with a secure, reliable and easy-to-use guest network too.
